All the world over, everybody loves to eat and discuss food, discover new recipes and cooking techniques, learn what to drink with it. We will host workshops in which unique recipes for exquisite, delicious dishes will be taught, showcasing cuisines from Armenia and all over the world. In this way we will explore the cultural aspect of cooking. All the participants will have the chance to learn these recipes by cooking them themselves during the workshop.
Ecological food is a very trendy topic nowadays; everyone talks about it, and food is no longer viewed as a separate issue from that of a healthy lifestyle. How can we actually help instead of harming our health by preparing “smart” food? Moreover, the relationship between food and the environment is one of the key problems that is facing us today, from food shortages to deforestation for farmland, to the questionable ethics of mass food production and huge food wastage. How can we cook with minimum waste according to food recycling principles, using food which has been responsibly produced? In other words, how can we eat responsibly? All these key topics will be central for this year’s Food section.
